On the tail end of the .com boom we were hired to develop the image for a start up web portal called "Youthrules.com". The demographic was 18 to 25 year old men... Needles to say, we change the name to Enginenumber9, then designed a logo that would appeal to the demographic and brand it on many types of merchandise. We began a gorilla branding effort to gain recognition with the demographic, starting in NYC. Recruiting Rap recording artists "Black Sheep" and having them remix there early 90's hit "the Choice is yours" we created the theme song for E9. Recruiting the services of ex Real World cast members as spokespeople, we were able to gain high visibility in a short amount of time. The idea was good and the image was strong, due to things we can't really discuss, the project never got off the ground...
